Platform Upgrade

Firstly, you will notice that navigation in LearnRevitAPI Advanced Course has been updated. Unfortunately, you'll lose the track of your previous progress because I changed the backend logic.

Now each module is a card with a progress bar on the bottom to make it more motivating to keep learning.

There are a few bugs and time delays with tracking but it works. I'll fix JS code that handles it when I have more time. Let me know if it's a dealbreaker.

New Lessons + Modules

Also I've just uploaded ~3 hours of new content on the platform.

• Module 03 - Selection (Updated)​
  ​This module was completely re-recorded to make it better and include a few more tips and tricks.

• Module 04 - Look Inside (New)
  ​This is a new module where I focus on Revit Lookup and how to read properties and methods from elements. There will be a few more lesson in this module soon.

• Module 06 + 07 (Combined)​
  I've also merged 2 modules together (FilteredElementCollector and Filters). It makes more sense to keep them together.

I'm going to update many other modules and then focus on creating new ones.

Why updating?

I've had a few people reach out to let me know that some of my content is too fast-paced and hard to follow. So I slowed down and I want to update the lessons.

​

Also I want to use newer Revit version (2025) and I learnt a few tips and tricks since first videos, so I want to share them as well.

​

In general, I want to make your learning experience better.

New lessons that have the same topic as the old ones will include both New and Old videos in case you want to watch it twice or prefer older format.

✨The biggest feature

Lastly, I'm starting to translate audio of my new content into multiple languages:

This is not a cheap feature in terms of time and money, so I'll only translate the new content at first. Starting with Module 03 and Module 04. You can already check them out!
